Messages Tab

The initial version of ScriptWave did not have a message feature because typists have their own email accounts.  Two factors helped promote the need for integrated messaging.

First, generic email messages are in simple text and are not encrypted.  When using email, you have to be concerned about any content related to the transcription business.

Second, email accounts are filled with tons of spam and noise that make it difficult for you to pick out email related only to businesses.

The ScriptWave messaging service has the advantage of using full ScriptWave encryption and having an integrated and simple interface.  ScriptWave has an Alert system to notify when new messages arrive.

Status of Messages appears on the left pane
Letter
header and body are on the right pane.

Note: To send the message immediately without waiting for ScriptWave to do so automatically, click on the “communicate now” button .  Once communicated successfully, the message will move into the Sent category.

Reply to Message

Any message in the Received Status can be used to Reply to a message.

Once selecting Reply, follow the same steps of the process for Sending a message.  You will not be able to change the To: field when doing a reply.  The text of the previous message is retained.  Add new text to the area above the “======” in the Memo area.  Select the save button to complete the reply .
