Alerts Tab

ScriptWave uses alerts to tell you when new work or information has arrived. If there are un-cleared alerts listed on the Alerts tab, the ScriptWave icon in the task bar will flash yellow. See the Icons and Alert Images section for more information.

To stop the icon from flashing, you will need to clear the list of alerts. An individual alert will clear if you double-click on the line for the Alert. To clear all Alerts, use the trashcan.

These Alerts will cause the ScriptWave icon to flash:

Sent	A dictation file has been successfully imported into ScriptWave
Dictate	A new dictation file has arrived from the physician.
Type	A dictation file has been assigned to a typist and should be transcribed.
Received	Completed transcription file has been received from a typist.
Recalled	A dictation file has been removed and should not be typed.
Reassigned	A dictation file assigned to you has been given to another typist.
Message	A new message has arrived. Check the Messages tab.
FTP	ScriptWave has received a generic FTP transfer file. Check the \ScriptWave\FTP folder.
