Dictation Import Screen

Lead typists can use ScriptWave to import dictation files from recorders or tape for the physician.  After using software to encode any tapes to digital audio files, copy the dictation file to the folder defined in preferences:

Once the files are copied to this folder, ScriptWave will detect them and prepare them for transmission.  In this example, a dictation file named Audio001.mp3 is placed in the Dictation folder.

ScriptWave will see the file and show the Dictation Import Screen.  Use the pull-down list to select the Physician’s account who sent you the file (ScriptWave will return all transcription to this physician and any office administrators for this physician).

To make this a priority dictation file, select the Priority button.

Any additional comments that will be visible to the typist can be placed below the file name.
