Starting/Stopping ScriptWave
The ScriptWave installer sets-up ScriptWave to start when you log in to Windows. If you have shut down Scriptwave and need to start it again, use the icon in the Start/Programs list or on the Desktop:
ScriptWave runs in the background. To see if Scriptwave is running, check the Windows Toolbar for the SCW icon. To open the ScriptWave main screen, double-click the icon –or– right-click and select Show. To stop ScriptWave, right-click on the icon in the toolbar and select Shutdown. Note: all automatic file transfer will stop when you stop ScriptWave.
ScriptWave’s Icon in the Windows toolbar will flash to let you know when new content (dictation files, transcription files, messages, software updates) has arrived or if file transfer is working.
ScriptWave Communications Window
ScriptWave deactivates all tabs and functions while doing a
communications session. The status box will show the communication steps that are
taken during the process. This
information is important if you need assistance from technical support.
During a file transfer, the progress
bar will show the progress of the download.
The speed of this file transfer will vary based on the size of the
dictation/transcription file and the speed of the Internet connection.
