Icons (located at the top of the
ScriptWave Window for all Tabs
Communicate
Now: ScriptWave
checks the ScriptWave server hourly to see if there is any pending file
transfers. ScriptWave
checks for new dictation, completed transcription, messages, generic FTP
transfers, software updates and diagnostic commands from technical
support. If you would like to
check for work more frequently than each hour, click on this icon.
There is no limit to the number of times that you can check.
View the
ScriptWave log: ScriptWave logs many
events to this text file to record a history of success or problems. Most of the time, ScriptWave recovers from communications
problems and retries successfully. If
you do not think that ScriptWave is operating correctly, please check this
log for detailed information. Technical
Support will also want to check this file to resolve issues quickly.
Send your log
to ScriptWave technical support: In
order to assist technical support in resolving issues, you can send the
log to the ScriptWave server before contacting technical support.
Send the program to the toolbar: SciptWave will return to the background. To stop ScriptWave, see Starting/Stopping ScriptWave.
Alert Images: These
images appear at the bottom of the ScriptWave screen. If there are new alerts received, these images will flash.
 Dictation Alert: If
the lead typist receives new dictation, or if the dictation file is
deleted or re-assigned, this image will flash.
Clicking on this image will switch to the Alerts Tab.
Transcription Alert: If dictation
files return to the lead typist from the other typists, this image will
flash. Clicking on this image will switch to the Alerts Tab.
Message Alert: ScriptWave has
received a new message. Clicking
on this image will switch to the Messages Tab.
